On Sunday the 29th of April a GEAAP team of intrepid walkers took on the Glasgow Kilt Walk, an annual event supported by Arnold Clark and the Hunter foundation giving Charity’s the opportunity to raise much needed funds.
Brave members of the GEAAP Team completed the Mighty Stride a walk of approximately 26 miles from Glasgow Green to Balloch. Others took on the Big Stroll a distance of 15 miles, whilst the less energetic completed the Wee Wander a walk of 6 miles.
But no matter what distance they covered a huge THANK YOU goes out to all our walkers and of course the individuals who sponsored them. The project is on track to raise the fantastic total of £10,000 much needed funding that will be used to support our work across the East of Glasgow.
